Wyoming Veterans Commission Taking Names For Freedom Memorial

The Wyoming Veterans Commission is taking names of service members qualified to be engraved into the newly dedicated Freedom Memorial at the Wyoming Veteran's Memorial Park in Cody. The Veterans Commission will take names until March 20, 2012. Names of men and women who died on active duty since 1975 will be engraved into the monument next spring. The memorial is dedicated to those who have died while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces since 1975. It consists of a semicircle of seven granite pillars surrounding a central monument made of Black Hills granite.
