Interstates Back Open Following Snow Storm

Interstates 80 and 25 in southeastern Wyoming are back open following a snow storm that swept across the state. Portions of both highways reopened Wednesday morning after being shut down Tuesday because of snow and strong winds. The Pacific storm system brought between 6 and 10 inches of snow to the Cheyenne area. The National Weather Service said the city received 7.7 inches on Tuesday, setting a new record for the day. The old record was 2.7 inches set in 1995. The storm also brought 14 inches of snow to Reno Hill in Natrona County.
