The Cheyenne school district is partnering with a nonprofit group to help students, families and school officials resolve bullying issues. Laramie County School District 1 Superintendent Mark Stock says the partnership with the group UPLIFT started Tuesday. UPLIFT will offer family support specialists to help families and students. Stock says while most bullying issues can be handled through the school, the service will offer neutral, third-party support for those who aren't comfortable going to school personnel or who aren't satisfied with previous outcomes. UPLIFT, who is not being paid by the district, has worked with the district before, offering advocacy and support services for families that have students with disabilities or special needs.
