Man who tried to rob Cheyenne gas station sought

Authorities are looking for a man who tried to rob a Cheyenne gas station at gunpoint - the second time the store has been targeted in a week. Police say a man wearing a ski mask entered a Stag Oil filling station near the airport at about 10 p.m. Thursday and pointed a handgun at the clerk. The employee retreated to a back room and locked the door, then heard the gunman leave the store. The suspect, who left empty handed, is described as white, about 5-foot-7, in his early 20s and with a slender build. Police are not sure if the attempted robbery is related to robbery a week ago at the gas station.
