A 21-year-old California woman is recovering after she fell while climbing a canyon in Grand Teton National Park. Park officials say Jessica Haines, of Laguna Beach, Calif., was hiking in Waterfalls Canyon with two companions Saturday afternoon when she separated from the group to look at some nearby geological features. Haines suffered non-critical injuries when she fell about 20 feet while trying to ascend the canyon just above Columbine Cascades. She was treated at the scene and flown by helicopter to a Jackson hospital. Haines was working in the area this summer.
