Three candidates to become the next president of Northwest College in Powell, Wyo., are scheduled to visit campus this month. The school says Miles Community College President Stefani Hicswa is scheduled to visit Jan. 16-17. She has led Miles Community College in Miles City, Mont., since 2006. Debra Thatcher of SUNY-Cobleskill will visit campus Jan. 23-24. She is the chief operating officer, provost and vice president of academic affairs at State University of New York College of Agriculture and Technology at Cobleskill. Jon Connolly, who is vice president of academic affairs at Sheridan and Gillette College, is scheduled to visit from Jan. 30-31. Northwest College President Paul Prestwich announced last year that he would resign after his contract ends June 30.
