Law enforcement in Fremont County intends to step up patrols for impaired drivers during the upcoming St. Patrick's Day weekend. Fremont County Deputy Sheriff Arnie Zertuche says people who intend to drink should make sure they have a designated driver. St. Patrick's Day is Sun., March 17. Zertuche says officers with the Fremont County Sheriff's Department, Wyoming Highway Patrol, and Riverton and Lander police departments all plan increased patrols. He says that with so many people out at the bars, there's the potential for more drunken drivers to be out on the roads.
