Yesterday, a coalition gathered in Washington, DC as part of “Broadband WORKS for Rural America.” Jess Peterson, Executive Vice President of the US Cattlemen's Association says broadband is vital for to the education of our students.
Peterson says it is not just students that are hurt when access is lacking, farmers and ranchers rely on it, too.
According to statistics by PatchworkNation.org, 86.2 percent of homes in Sweetwater County have broadband access.
