The U.S. Bureau of Land Management plans to hold a public meeting in Pinedale to collect comments on a proposed new power project. The agency has set a meeting for Feb. 1 to discuss the Anticline Electrification Phase 1 project. The project would provide power to oil and gas facilities in the area and allow operators to stop using on-site generators that contribute to ozone problems in the region. If it's permitted, construction of the project would start in late summer or early fall this year and be completed by spring 2013. The meeting is set for Wed., Feb. 1, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the PFO Rendezvous Room at 1625 W. Pine in Pinedale.
