Drugs Seized East of Rock Springs During Routine Traffic Stop

Twenty two pounds is the amount of marijuana that was found by troopers with the Wyoming Highway Patrol on Monday, January 2nd, east of Rock Springs. A driver was stopped for following too close. An investigation by a trooper, a recent academy graduate and K-9 Officer Basile led to the discovery and seizure of the suspected drugs and paraphernelia. And unidentified 53 year old California resident was arrested. An investigation is ongoing.
