The Wyoming Department of Audit has received the missing paperwork that led to the Eden-Farson Fire District being warned it could be dissolved. According to Public Funds Administrator Pam Robinson, under state requirement, an annual report is due by October 5th. Robinson says that Eden-Farson sent their report in December. Sweetwater County Clerk Davis received a warning letter from the Department of Audit about the Eden-Farson Fire District that was dated December 1st. Days after, the district faxed a page that was either excluded or sent to the wrong place. Had the district not gotten the remaining paperwork in, Robinson says the state would have sent a letter to the county commissioners instructing them to advertise the district is being dissolved by the county commission and the Department of Audit.
