Rock Springs Police have arrested 30 year old Mary Kay Bird of Rock Springs for embezzling nearly 30 thousand dollars from Gateway Liquors. Bird was arrested on December 27th after an investigation and financial audit indicated a loss of sales and inventory from previous years. Bird was taken to the Sweetwater County Detention Facility and bond was later set at 15 thousand dollars.
