Green River City Council High Pay

The Green River City Council is the highest paid Council in the southwest portion of Wyoming, according to information gathered about Council and mayor pay.
Green River Council members are paid $1,000 a month for their work with the city. Other city council representatives are paid less. Before his resignation, Green River City Administrator Barry Cook the Council cannot vote themselves an increase in pay, but can increase a future Council’s monthly pay. The last time the council increased pay for the mayor and councilman positions was in 2002.
