The Bureau of Land Management Rawlins Field Office will host the 2012 Industry Government Conference on Mar. 14th at the Jeffrey Memorial Community Center in Rawlins. Serena Baker says the conference is open to the public, but is focused on Industry Representatives and the BLM networking and sharing.
Industry and other agency presentations will include such things as Pygmy Rabbits and energy development, the war on weeds, geo-spatial mapping/GIS and Bald/Golden Eagle Act, and oil and gas filing and agreements.
In conjunction with the Industry Conference, the Monitoring without Borders (wildlife monitoring) meeting will be held Mar. 13th and the Transportation Planning meeting will be held Mar. 15th with an open forum at the Rawlins Field Office. For more information, go to blm.gov.
