Three Injured in Flash Fire At Sinclair Refinery Were Wearing Protective Clothing

The three workers critically injured in a fire at the Sinclair refinery near Rawlins were wearing special fire resistant clothing at the time. The state Occupational Safety and Health Administration is investigating Tuesday's fire and noted the protective clothing was used. An agency spokeswoman said Wednesday that the investigation likely will continue through next Monday. Sinclair Oil Corp. says the flash fire happened inside a gas recovery unit at its refinery, about five miles east of Rawlins. Tim Bjork, Eric Hansen and another unidentified worker were being treated at a burn center in Greeley, Colo. A fourth worker was treated and released from a Rawlins hospital Tuesday. Salt Lake City-based Sinclair has released little information about the fire but says there appeared to be little or no damage to the facility.

  1. It is informative post. This cloths helps in starving the fire by pushing away the oxygen. I have this cloths because i need it. Everything is perfect in this post.
