A Riverton man accused of having sexual contact and nearly strangling his girlfriend's daughter has pleaded guilty to second-degree attempted murder. 48-year-old George William Lucas also pleaded guilty to first-degree sexual assault and second-degree sexual abuse. Lucas had originally pleaded not guilty to a variety of charges in March. He now faces 40 years to life when he's sentenced. He pleaded no contest in 2009 to a charge of third-degree sexual assault in a separate case.
