BLM Pinedale Hosts Greater Sage-Grouse Public Meeting

The Bureau of Land Management Pinedale Field Office, in coordination with the Pinedale Anticline Project Office, will host a Greater Sage-Grouse public meeting on Thursday, March 14th from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Pinedale Field Office located at 1625 W. Pine Street in Pinedale. Shelley Gregory says the meeting is a follow-up to the February 20th Wildlife Annual Planning Meeting and is prompted by the drop in the number of active sage-grouse leks in the Duke’s Triangle Complex, a Wildlife Monitoring and Mitigation Matrix trigger.

As directed in the 2008 PAPA Supplemental Environmental Impact Statement Record of Decision, a general APM is scheduled each year encompassing a wide range of PAPA topics.
