If you live in Green River and have not signed up yet, you will want to get your name registered with the new CodeRed system. Green River Fire Chief Mike Kennedy encourages businesses and citizens to get their information registered by going to cityofgreenriver.org.
Kennedy says that you can pick and choose the way you want to receive notifcations.
Just go to the Green River City website and click the Code Red Emergency Alert link under the heading of Residents to get your information in the system.
