The 17th Annual Trees For Recyclables will be held this Saturday (May 4) at 100 Grant Street in Rock Springs. From 10 AM to 2 PM, you can get a free seedling tree for every large bag of recyclable material you bring. Materials that will be accepted include newspaper, corrugated cardboard, magazines and catalogs, office pack/green bar paper, aluminum cans, shredded paper, all types of plastic except for hard plastic such as buckets, toys or pastry containers. Just be sure to wash out all plastic and remove the caps. The trees are provided by the Sweetwater County Solid Waste Disposal District number One and the Sweetwater County Conservation District.
