Ten Wyoming Teachers Honored With Achievement Awards

Ten Wyoming teachers were the recipients of outstanding achievement award and $3500 from the Arch Coal Foundation. Nominations are made by the public and selection is made by a blue-ribbon panel of the teachers' peers, all of who have been past recipients. The recipients were Charles Franke from Wheatland Middle School, Christina Gerritts from Sage Valley Junior High in Gillette, Carla A. Itzen of Kelly Walsh High School in Casper, Pamela Kraft from Encampment K through 12 School, Liesl I. Peterson of Wheatland High School, Dory Pfister of Lusk Elementary School, Michael Riley of Cody High School, Paul G. Street of Laramie High School, Lesly Urasky of Rawlins High School and Jamie Walker of the University of Wyoming Lab School.
