A new report says Wyoming will need to spend hundreds of millions of dollars over the next 20 years to make necessary improvements to municipal drinking water and waste water systems. The American Society of Civil Engineers says Wyoming likely will need to spend $300 million on drinking water systems and more than $150 million more bringing wastewater infrastructure up to date. George Parks is executive director of the Wyoming Association of Municipalities. He says every community in the state needs to improve its water-based infrastructure.
