The National High School Finals Rodeo Championships begins this week at the Sweetwater Events Complex. Chad Banks wants to remind everyone that this week, what would equal a small town will converge on our area.
With over 1500 competitors from 41 U.S. states and also five provinces in Canada and Australia, the finals is going to take a lot of volunteers which Banks says they have most of.
The National High School Rodeo Finals is the largest rodeo in the world with 13 performances over 7 days. Sweetwater County is expected to realize an economic impact of $7-$8 million each year with attendance for the 13 performances topping 100,000.
