Scientific research on grizzly bears has resumed in Yellowstone Park. Traps will be set for the bears, some near where a man was killed by a grizzly last week. Park officials say the research could help identify which bear killed 59 year old John Wallace of Michigan last week. The fall research season for the Interagency Grizzly Bear Study Team began Wednesday and continues through October 20th. Park spokeswoman Linda Miller said Wednesday that three traps set in the valley over the weekend have not captured any bears. Park officials say scientists will mark the areas where trapping is taking place and visitors should heed the signs and keep out of those areas.
