Travel Conditions For the University of Wyoming Game On Saturday

For those of you traveling to the University of Wyoming vs. Weber State on Saturday night, here is the road construction round up. Go Pokes!

On I-80 as you approach Laramie, you may find occasional reduced speeds. The speed limit is lowered to 65 mph in both directions between mileposts 245 and 259. For about a mile, eastbound traffic will be limited to the driving lane and a reduced speed of 65 mph near milepost 270. The speed limit is reduced to 65 mph between mileposts 282 and 292 on I-80 in both directions. For a short stretch at milepost 327, westbound lane traffic will be limited to the passing lane and a reduced speed of 40 mph. And The bridge at Round Top is getting a makeover. Travelers in both directions near milepost 358 will have reduced speed limits from 65 to 40 mph and passing lane passage only.


As for other roads into Laramie: WYO 34 (Sybille Canyon) is undergoing reconstruction and has a gravel/dirt surface between milepost 22 and 28. Speeds will be posted at 30 mph throughout. No pilots cars or flaggers will be working on Saturday. On US 287 south of Laramie, speeds will be reduced to 45 mph near the bridge at milepost 415. Otherwise, the road will have unrestricted traffic flow on the weekend.
