The Wyoming Business Council Board of Directors will meet via teleconference Jan. 6, 2012 at 10 a.m. to vote on adopting revised rules for the Community Development Block Grant Program.
The Community Development Block Grant Program rules have been amended and corrected to add or update rules and regulations that are required by the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the funding source for CDBG. In addition, standard formatting and editing changes were made.
New additions to the rules include a requirement to submit applications to Business Council regional directors two weeks prior to application deadlines; a pre-qualification for planning and technical assistance consultants; requiring the submission of a digital copy of applications; and revised application scoring and ranking methodology.
Public hearings and public comment periods were provided in accordance with the CDBG Citizen Participation Plan.
