Sweetwater County Sheriff's Department Detective Dick Blust says deputies were out on special holiday DUI detail over the weekend.
While no totals of arrests made were available by airtime, Blust says having the holiday on the weekend makes for a heavy workload for the deputies.
Even more DUI arrests are expected with the coming New Year's weekend. Blust says all law enforcement will be especially vigilant during that time.
