An anonymous donor is paying for more plowing and grooming along Teton County's pathway system this winter. The extra work could cost between $12,000 and $22,000, depending on how much it snows. Some elected officials weren't sure whether to accept the money because the town and county may not be able to continue the work in future years, disappointing skiers, cyclists and pedestrians. Mayor Mark Barron said it would be irresponsible not to maintain the pathways the public has asked for. County commissioner Paul Vogelheim said plowing the pathways isn't necessary and worried the work gives the perception that the town and county have too much money. Park workers are scheduled to start grooming pathways for Nordic skiing on Thursday.
