The Bureau of Land management Rock Springs Field Office has extended the public comment period for the Quaking Aspen Wind Energy Project. Spokesperson Serena Baker says a public meeting will also be held at the Holiday Inn Patio Room in Rock Springs from 5 to 7 PM Monday.
Baker says the meeting will provide detailed information about the Wind Energy Project which would bring 100 wind turbines about 11 miles southeast of Rock Springs.
The public is encouraged to submit comments in writing by mail, hand-delivered or by email to the BLM Rock Springs office.
