Candlelight Vigil Held To Remember Dewey Palmer

About 50 people gathered Tuesday night to remember 15 year old Dewey Palmer. Palmer died Sunday when he fell to his death from a cliff along the Green River. According to a press release, Palmer and a 13 year old companion were throwing rocks from the cliff near Jamestown when a rock Palmer was standing on at the edge moved. The candlelight vigil held Tuesday night included Green River High School Principal Jason Fuss who told the crowd that God has a plan when He takes someone so young. A memorial fund has been established in Palmer’s name at the Green River or Rock Springs offices of Trona Valley Credit Union.
