There is a new man in charge of the Wyoming Air National Guard.
Col. Dennis D. Grunstad II assumed command of the Wyoming Air National Guard Saturday morning during a ceremony at the Cheyenne Civic Center.
He takes over duties of the Assistant Adjutant General for the air guard from Brig. Gen. Donald A. Haught, who is retiring.
Grunstad also will be promoted to Brigadier General at a later date.
Grunstad most recently served as the Air Liaison Officer at the Joint Force Headquarters in Cheyenne. Before that assignment, he was the Commander of the 153rd Airlift Wing.
