A Colorado man led Wyoming state troopers on a wild high-speed chase along two interstates and into the prairie before he was finally captured. Sgt. Stephen Townsend says 47-year-old Ken Movellan of Berthoud, Colo., faces numerous charges, including felony aggravated assault on a peace officer and driving under the influence. Movellan was arrested Saturday after leading troopers on a chase north on Interstate 25, east on Interstate 80, into the prairie south of Interstate 80 and along Laramie County roads. Townsend says Movellan tried several times to ram state troopers' vehicles head-on during the chase. The Laramie County Sheriff's Office in Colorado began the pursuit of Movellan following a hit and run. Laramie deputies notified Wyoming troopers of the chase as Movellan approached the state line on Interstate 25.
