Suspicious Vehicle

Daggett County Sheriff’s officers responded to a call of a suspicious vehicle in Manila, Utah at approximately 3:00 a.m. on June 8, 2012. When the officers responded a chase ensued crossing state lines into Wyoming where the incident terminated and is still under investigation at this time. Wyoming Highway 414 of Mountain View was closed for a prolonged period of time on Friday due to a vehicle chase that started in Daggett County, Utah and terminated in Uinta County, Wyoming. Law enforcement personnel with the Uinta County Sheriff’s Office; Daggett County Sheriff’s Office; and Wyoming Highway Patrol were involved in the incident that impeded traffic to and from the Flaming Gorge area while the case was being investigated. The investigation is ongoing at this time
