With the current dry conditions and high fire danger, the Green River Police Department would like to remind all Green River residents that as we draw closer to the 4th of July holiday, the use of ANY and ALL Fireworks are illegal in the city limits. The fine for the first offense Use of Fireworks is $225.00 and this will be vigorously enforced by the GRPD. Please remember that any negligent use of fireworks or burning can also result in additional criminal charges being filed and you may be held responsible for any resulting personal injuries or property damage as a result of that negligence.
