The economic news in Sweetwater County continues to be upbeat---the latest numbers for jobs and payroll have been released by Wyoming Department of Workforce services----fourth quarter numbers from 2012 have been released and shows Sweetwater County conitnues to grow---Total payroll in Sweetwater county in the fourth quarter last year was 361.33 million dollars, up 4.1 percent from the fourth quarter of 2011, which amounts to an increase of 14.3 million dollars----The average weekly wage in the county rose from 1,068 dollars to 1,102 dollars, a 3.2 percent increase. The counties total dollars earned in the fourth quarter, is the fourth best in the state of wyoming, trailing only Natrona, Laramie, and Campbell county.
