Two Cheyenne men are being recognized as heroes, as they risked their lives to save the lives of three children trapped inside a burning car. The fire was located in the 200 block of west 7th street, early Monday afternoon. According to Lieutenant Mark Norford, of Cheyenne Fire and Rescue, the three kids were all under the age of five. All of them were transported to the hospital and two were then taken for further treatment to Greeley, Colorado. Lieutenant Norford says without the help of the two neighbors, the outcome of this fire could have been much worse. The fire is still under investigation and we'll keep you updated as we find out more. Norford says they hope to honor the two men later this week.
