The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Kemmerer Field Office (KFO) has groomed the Viva Naughton Cross-Country Ski Trail and it is now open for public use.
The four-mile trail is primarily flat with some small hills. It is designed exclusively for the use of cross-country skiers and will be groomed once a week or as the weather dictates. There is no charge for using the trail.
The trail head is located at the north end of Lake Viva Naughton, 18 miles north of Kemmerer, Wyo. on Lincoln County Road 233, and is directly across from the snowmobile trail head parking lot.
