Sweetwater County is making final preparation for the National High School Finals Rodeo. Officials are recommending that area residents stock up on essentials such as prescription medications and be prepared for changes such as heavy traffic and crowded restaurants. The rodeo begins Sunday and is expected to attract some 10,000 people. Undersheriff Craig Jackson says that the event will likely cause disruptions in the day-to-day routine of residents. Extra law enforcement, medical personnel and other public service officials will be on hand for the rodeo.
