The Bureau of Land Management Kemmerer Field Office has groomed the Fossil Island Golf Course cross-country ski trail and it is now open to the public. There is no charge to use the easy 1.5 mile loop located at 105 Highway 189 in Kemmerer. The BLM grooms the cross-country ski trail as a public service and under agreement with the City of Kemmerer.
