Body Found At Cheyenne East High School Is A Female Student

The body that was found at Cheyenne's East High School yesterday morning has been confirmed to be that of a female student by Cheyenne police. According to a news release from police spokesman Sgt. Rob Dafoe, school maintenance workers reported finding the teen's body at approximately 10:15 a.m. An initial investigation determined that her death was not associated with any school-related activity. She had not been present in class or even in the building today. The cause and manner of the girl's death remain under investigation by Cheyenne Police detectives and Laramie County Coroner Marty Luna. The female's identity has not been released, pending family notification.
