Another Green River resident has fallen victim to a scam. Officers took a fraud report on Bridger Drive from a victim that said she had been defrauded out of $781 by two males with foreign accents. It appears she had applied for a loan online and was then contacted by the males who told her she needed to send the money as a processing fee for a $3000 loan. After sending the initial $780, the victim said she was contacted again by the suspects who requested additional money. When the victim refused, the males threatened to sue her. The investigation is ongoing.
