Power Restored Following Saturday's Storm

Utility crews have restored power to as many as 4,000 customers of Cheyenne Light, Fuel and Power following Saturday's snowstorm. Eleven customers had no electricity for more than 40 hours. Snow and strong winds downed power lines and tree branches Saturday. The National Weather Service recorded 6 inches of snow at its Airport Parkway office in Cheyenne.
More than 2,000 High West Energy customers also lost power. High West is a member-owned cooperative that serves customers in Wyoming, Nebraska and Colorado.
