Authorities are investigating a fire that killed two dogs and severely damaged a mobile home south of Worland. Worland Volunteer Fire Department Chief Chris Kocher says that neighbors who saw smoke billowing from the home called authorities just before 12:30 p.m. Friday. The homeowners, Bill and Chris McEdwards, were not home at the time, but their two dogs were trapped in the building. By the time firefighters arrived, flames had fully engulfed the attic space of the home and had spread the length of the building. Kocher says the fire is not considered suspicious.
