Leftover big game licenses sold on Internet

The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has been able to sell thousands of leftover big game licenses quickly and with little hassle thanks to the Internet. The agency sold the licenses on July 10 and 17. More than 3,200 leftover big game licenses were sold during the first hour on July 10, and 6,906 licenses before 9 a.m. on July 17. Many areas sold out in a few hours. For both days combined, 58 hunt areas sold out before 9 a.m. Game and Fish computer programmer Tom Graham says computers can handle a virtually unlimited number of license purchasers at the same time. Thanks to computers, people did not have to wait once sales began. This is the third year that leftover big game licenses were available for sale online.
