Liz Cheney jumped the gun on Wyo. fishing license

Liz Cheney, who's running for a U.S. Senate seat in Wyoming, bought a state resident fishing license last summer just months after moving to the state. Cheney now says she was unaware that Wyoming law requires a person to live in the state for at least a year before they're eligible to buy a resident license. Resident licenses are cheaper than non-resident licenses. Cheney and her husband moved to Jackson Hole in May 2012 from Virginia. She bought the resident fishing license last August. She says she told the vendor she was a Wyoming resident, but didn't specify for how long. The 47-year-old Cheney is the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney. She announced last month that she's challenging incumbent Sen. Mike Enzi in next year's Republican primary.
