BLM Pinedale Issues Anticline Electrification Decision

The BLM Pinedale Field Office issued its finding of no significant impact and decision record for the proposed Anticline Electrification Phase I Project environmental assessment. Shelley Gregory says the project's Phase one construction consists of three parts.

The third part is a ten mile reroute of the authorized Paradise 230 kiloVolt transmission line. Currently, this line is authorized to parallel Highway 191 to Highway 351 then follow Highway 351 to the Paradise Road.

The power lines will provide electrical power to various Anticline oil and gas facilities and allow operators to convert from internal combustion generators and motors to electric energy to power equipment, reducing the amount of ozone forming chemicals that enter the local environment and improve air quality in the region.
