BLM Rawlins Seeking Comment on Atlantic Rim Doty Mountain Project

The Bureau of Land Management Rawlins Field Office is seeking public comment on the Doty Mountain Plan of Development D. Serena Baker says that it is a site-specific environmental assessment to drill and develop nine coal bed natural gas wells in Carbon County within the Atlantic Rim Project Area.

Baker says that the nine natural gas wells planned would range in depth from 1,730 to 3,050 feet.

The Environmental Assessment is tiered to the Atlantic Rim Natural Gas Development Project Environmental Impact Statement and Record of Decision signed March 2007. The assessment is available at blm.gov.
