Freedom Award Nominations Include Green River Employer

The Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve, an agency of the Department of Defense, announced that six Wyoming Guard and Reserve members have nominated their employers. including Church and Dwight in Green River, for the 2012 Secretary of Defense Employer Support Freedom Award. Beth Sherman with the ESGR says that Guard and Reserve members, or family members acting on their behalf, nominate their civilian employers for during the 12-week nomination season.







Sherman says that supportive employers provide a tremendous amount of stability and peace of mind to these our Citizen Warriors and their families, enabling them to continue their dedicated service to our country.   The nomination is just one way to recognize them.







Of the 3236 nominations received nationwide, just 15 will travel to Washington DC for the Award Ceremony. Semi-finalists will be announced later this month. For more information, go to freedomaward.mil.
