A 32 year old Rock Springs man is dead, and a 22 year old man has been arrested and charged with first degree murder. The Rock Springs police department is reporting that 32 year old Andrew Klakken died from a single gun shot wound suffered Friday night at the Imperial apartment complex in Rock Springs. The department says Kyle Lawrence was arrested and charged with murder. Police say they arrived at the complex Friday night after a 911 call. Officers found Klakken lying outside the apartment I-33 suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to the abdomen. Klakken was unresponsive and transported to the hospital and was later airlifted to the intermountain medical center in Utah where Klakken ultimately died as a result of the injuries sustained from the gunshot. Lawrence was arrested. Police say the investigation continues and anyone with additional information is being asked to call police.
